The III International Athletics Marathon "Pure Baikal" for the prizes of the world champion Natalia Solominskaya is held in accordance with the Schedule of official physical culture events and sports events of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of the Republic of Buryatia, the Athletics Federation of the Republic of Buryatia.
The marathon is held in accordance with the "Rules of the sport" Athletics "" (approved by order of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Russia dated 12.04.2010 No. 340).

General information
Participants at all distances are required to provide the original medical certificate with admission to participate in the competition.
Nonresident participants, upon receipt of a starter package, must provide a certificate with the results of a laboratory test for coronavirus.
The time limit for overcoming the Marathon, half-marathon is 6 hours. Participants who do not fit into the time limit are removed from the competition distance.
Competitions are held from 13/08/2022. to 13/08/2022 in the village of Maksimikha, Barguzinsky district of the Republic of Buryatia.
The starting point for all distances: 228 km of the Ulan-Ude - Kurumkan road (the turn to the sports and recreation camp of "Rovesnik").
The start at all distances will take place on August 13, 2022 at 9:00 local time.
at a distance of 42.2 km., 21.1 km allowed: men, women aged 18 years and older, veterans in the age groups 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 years and older, athletes with disabilities *.
at a distance of 10 km, persons aged 16 and over, veterans in all age categories, athletes with disabilities are allowed.
at a distance of 3 km, children are allowed in the age categories 6-7 years old, 8-9 years old, 10-11 years old, 12-13 years old, 14-15 years old, 16-17 years old, as well as athletes with disabilities and everyone who wants to.
The age of the participants is determined as of the date of the Marathon - August 13, 2022.

Registration for participation in the Marathon will be carried out on the website http://baikalrun.com until 24:00 on July 31, 2022. Registration of participants who did not have time to submit an application online will continue in manual mode on August 9 at the address: Ulan-Ude, Lenina str., 39 (TRC FORUM), and on August 12 at the address: Barguzinsky district, s. Maksimikha Sport and Recreation Camp "Rovesnik".
Applications for participation in the Marathon, made on the website online, are accepted and processed only after payment of the registration fee.

  • Medical certificate must proof that the participant has no contra-indication to running in competition.
  • Medical certificate must be valid in the athlete's country of residence, filled in, stamped and signed by a doctor, and comply with all the rules and regulations enforced in the athlete's country.
  • The certificate must be issued less than 6 months prior to the race.
  • Certificates will not be returned to the participants. A copy is acceptable upon presentation of the original certificate.

10:00 - 22:00 - Issuance of starter packs to registered participants at the address: Barguzinsky district, Maximikha village, "ROVESNIK" SOL.
To get the starter pack, you need:
  1. Present an identity card .
  2. Provide a medical certificate. A photocopy of the certificate is accepted subject to the availability of the original.
  3. For participants with disabilities, a document confirming disability must be provided.
  4. When receiving the starter package, nonresident participants must provide a certificate with the results of a laboratory test for Coronavirus infection
Getting the Starter pack
The starting and finishing point will be located on the 228th kilometer of the Ulan-Ude - Kurumkan highway (the turn to the sports and recreation camp "Rovesnik").
You need to arrive at the this point on August 07, 202 1 year until 8:50 a.m. (please note that traffic on the day of the competition will be limited to 08:00 after that time the road will be closed for the of marathon)
Changing rooms and lockers will be open on 7 August from 08:00.
All distances will start on August 7, 2021 at 9:00 local time.
Food points, refreshment points and dry closets located in the starting town and in every 5 km will work for you along the distance.
The time limit for overcoming the Marathon and half-marathon is 6 hours. Participants who do not fit into the time limit are removed from the competition distance.
After crossing the finish line, continue down the finish corridor where you will receive a finisher medal (for 42.195 km (Marathon); 21.1 km (half marathon); 10 km (highway running)) and refreshments.
