V International Athletics Marathon "Clean Baikal" for the prizes of world champion Natalia Solominskaya (hereinafter referred to as "Marathon") is held in accordance with the Calendar Plan of official physical culture events and sports activities of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of the Republic of Buryatia, Athletics Federation of the Republic of Buryatia.
The marathon is held in accordance with the "Rules of the sport "Athletics" (approved by the order of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Russia from 12.04.2010 № 340).
The official competitions are held in road running on five standard distances: 42.195 km (Ekiden); 42.195 km (Marathon); 21.1 km (half marathon); 10 km (road running); 3 km.
General information
Participants on all distances must provide the original medical certificate with admission to participate in the competition.
The time limit for the Marathon and Half Marathon is 6 hours. Participants who do not meet the time limit are removed from the competition course.
Competitions are held on 10.08.2024 in the village Maximikha Barguzinsky district of the Republic of Buryatia.
The starting place of all distances: 228 kilometre of the road Ulan-Ude - Kurumkan (turn-off to the sports and recreation camp VSGUTU "Rovesnik").
The start of all distances will be held on 10 August 2024 at 9:00 a.m. local time.
at the distances of 42.2 km, 21.1 km and Ekiden team relay are allowed: men, women aged 18 years and older, veterans in the age groups 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 years and older.
at the distance of 10 km persons aged 16 years and older, veterans in all age groups are allowed.
at the distance of 3 km children 0+ children and all comers, as well as children, men and women with disabilities are allowed.
Registration for the Marathon will be carried out on the website https://baikalrun.com until 24:00 on 31 July 2024. Registration of participants who have not had time to apply online will continue in manual mode on 8 August at the address: Ulan-Ude, 39 Lenina St. (Forum Shopping Mall) and on 9 August at the address: Barguzinsky District, Maximikha village, Kolos boarding house, in accordance with the Marathon programme.
Applications for participation in the Marathon, made online on the website, are accepted and processed only after payment of the registration fee.
How to register
Registration fee
  • Medical certificate must proof that the participant has no contra-indication to running in competition.
  • Medical certificate must be valid in the athlete's country of residence, filled in, stamped and signed by a doctor, and comply with all the rules and regulations enforced in the athlete's country.
  • The certificate must be issued less than 6 months prior to the race.
  • Certificates will not be returned to the participants. A copy is acceptable upon presentation of the original certificate.

Every finisher gets:

10:00 - 2 1:00 - Issuance of start packages to registered participants at the address: Barguzinsky district, village Maximikha boarding house "Kolos" ul. Barguzinskaya 75.
To get the starter pack, you need:
  1. Present an identity card .
  2. Provide a medical certificate. A photocopy of the certificate is accepted subject to the availability of the original.
  3. Provide life and health insurance (it will also be possible to take out insurance from the organisers when getting a slot)
  4. For participants with disabilities, proof of disability must be provided.
Getting the Starter pack
The start and finish camp will be located at the 228th kilometre of the Ulan-Ude - Kurumkan motorway (turn-off to the sports and recreation camp of VSGUTU "Rovesnik").
You need to arrive at the starting point on 10 August 2024 before 8h.50min. (please note that the movement of motor transport on the day of the competition will be restricted from 08:00)
Dressing rooms and lockers will be open on 10 August from 08:00.
The start of all courses will be on 10 August 2024 at 9:00 local time.
Food, refreshment and toilet facilities will be available at the start camp and every 5 km along the course.
The time limit for the Marathon and Half Marathon is 6 hours. Participants who do not meet the time limit will be removed from the race course.
After crossing the finish line, continue along the finish corridor where you will receive a finisher's medal (for distances of 42.195 km (Marathon); 21.1 km (Half Marathon); 10 km (Road Run)) and refreshments.
The closing ceremony and awarding of winners and prize-winners at the distances of 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km, will take place on 12 August 2023 at 18:00 local time in the boarding house "Kolos".
Awarding of winners and prize-winners in the 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km races will take place on 10 August 2024 at 18:00.
Cups, diplomas, medals and valuable prizes are awarded:
At a distance of 42.2km men and women who took 1-6 place absolute championship, veterans men and women who took 1-3 place in their age groups, as well as athletes with disabilities who took 1-3 place.
At the distance of 21.1km men and women who took 1-6th place in the absolute championship, veterans men and women who took 1-3 place in their age groups, as well as athletes with disabilities who took 1-3 place.
At the distance of 10 km men and women in absolute superiority who took 1st to 3rd place, as well as athletes with disabilities who took 1-3 place are awarded.
Finisher's medals are awarded to all participants who finished the distances of 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km.
At the distance of 3 km children who took 1-3 places in their age groups, children and adults with disabilities who took 1-3 places are awarded.
